How to increase your ability to smell using acupressure.
I love acupressure. It’s acupuncture without the use of needles.
As a certified Shiatsu Massage Therapist, I have been trained in depth into a holistic system of health and wellbeing.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, everything is energy and that energy moves through different energy channels in our body.
They are also known as “meridians” and we have 12 main meridians (6 couples of yin and yang meridians).
Since we are moving into the season of Autumn, we are going to focus on balancing our Lungs and Large Intestines meridians.
Today, I’d love to share with you which acupressure point you can massage to help you breathe and smell better.
Enjoy watching Today’s “2 minute video tip by Monique”:
DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor, so when you take medicine, or you are having doubts, always consult your doctor / therapist first.
Acupressure / acupuncture point Large Intestines 20 (LI20) is also known as “the reception of enjoyable smells”.
Whenever you have these symptoms, feel free to massage this point:
- nose bleeding
- loss of smell
- inability to breathe properly, because your nose is filled with “stuff”
- muscles of your face are paralysed
Now it’s your turn….
How well do you smell?
