How to find relief from TMJ using this mudra.
Thank you so much for tuning into Today’s episode of “Mudra Monday”.
For those of you who are suffering from a lot of pain around the joint of your jaws, also known as TemporoMandibular Joint (TMJ), I have this wonderful mudra for you. First of all, let me dive into what causes TMJ and the symptoms you might experience.
Causes TMJ:
- grinding teeth
- clenching jaws
- chewing food on only one side of your mouth
- poor posture
- (emotional) stress
- processed food that cause inflammation
Symptoms TMJ:
- jaw and neck pain
- temporal headaches
- pain when you chew on your food
- pain when you open and close your mouth
- ear pain such as tinnitus (ringing sound in your ears)
