How this exercise can help you be more flexible and decisive.

This week’s theme is about helping you balancing the energy of your gallbladder.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, in particular the Chinese 5 elements philosophy / theory, the liver and gallbladder meridians are controlled by our Wood Element / Energy.

Our ability to be flexible (both physically and mentally) and to make decisions easily is a function of our gallbladder meridian and every other aspect that is associated with this energy system. One of them being the emotion of anger (and all the variations of anger, such as frustration, resentment, unforgiveness, rage, but also depression on the other side of the equation).

So, if you notice that you are having difficulties in setting healthy boundaries for example, which cause you to feel these different emotions and you don’t know how to deal with them effectively. Or if you feel stiff (muscles) in your body, especially in the morning, you just can’t seem to get out of bed, that could be an indication that your Wood Element is out of balance.
