Thank you so much for tuning into Today’s edition of “Healthy Living Wednesday!” And in this episode, I’d love to share with you some of the many amazing health benefits of adding brussels sprouts into your meal.
When I was a little girl, I did not like to eat this veggie. It’s something that I have learned to appreciate along the way.
For those of you who would love to boost your immune system, eating brussels sprout can definitely help you with that.

As promised in the video, here’s the recipe for brussels sprouts with a Thai twist:
- brussels sprouts (400 gram)
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic
- chick peas (250 gram)
- mushrooms (200 gram)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder (or small piece of ginger root)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- coconut milk (200 ml)
- clean and cut the brussels sprouts in half and steam them, until they are “al dente”.
- cut onion, mushrooms and tomatoes into slices
- chop the garlic
- wash chick peas with water and let it dry
- stirfry onion, garlic, mushrooms and tomatoes
- add the spices
- add the brussels sprouts “al dente” and chick peas
- add coconut milk
- let simmer for a while
Serve with Pandan Rice.
